Mums from Merseyside have shared stories of how their year-old daughters were targeted with sexual messages on Instagram. One child was sent graphic videos and pictures from a man and another young girl was asked to "sex chat" with another Instagram user. The girls parents were horrified by the messages, which have left one of the girls with nightmares, not least because both of their profiles had been set to 'private' when they were targeted. The parents are speaking out in the hope that it will help others protect and start conversations with their own children.
